Bree Montoya Scholarship for Accounting
Criteria
To be considered for the Bree Montoya Scholarship for Accounting, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited college or university in the United States.
- Must be pursuing or planning to pursue a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Must demonstrate academic dedication, integrity, and a strong interest in the accounting profession.
Essay Requirement:
Applicants are required to submit a well-written essay of 500–800 words addressing the following prompt:
Essay Prompt:
“Describe how ethical decision-making and transparency play a vital role in the accounting profession. How do you envision using your accounting education to promote trust and integrity in financial reporting?”
Essays will be evaluated based on originality, clarity, critical thinking, and alignment with the values of the accounting profession.
