Cyber Scholars Program - Transfer & Continuing Students
Open for Continuing UMBC Students and Incoming Transfer Students Only

UMBC’s Cyber Scholars Program is geared towards preparing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals in an increasingly digital age. The program was launched through a generous grant from the Northrop Grumman Foundation and in partnership with the Center for Women in Technology (CWIT).
All students who meet the program requirements are invited to apply for an opportunity to become a scholar and receive:
- Mentorship from peers, faculty, and industry professionals in your field;
- Follow a track or certificate program in your major related to cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, or data science;
- Complete at least one internship and/or research experience
- Receive Cyber Scholar scholarship and more!
