Anthony Alvarez Award for Outstanding Students in Engineering

This scholarship is awarded to current junior or senior students majoring in mechanical engineering in the College of Engineering and Information Technology at UMBC.

The Anthony Alvarez Award for Outstanding Students in Engineering was established in April 1998 by Conveyor Handling Co. in honor of Anthony Alvarez.

Required Qualifications:
Mechanical Engineering Major
Junior or Senior

Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Demonstrated record of leadership and community involvement
Demonstrated financial need
Maryland Resident and U.S. Citizen
