CWIT and Cyber Scholar Programs - New First Year Students

Open for Fall 2025 Incoming Freshmen ONLY

The Center for Women In Technology Scholars Program, also known as the CWIT Scholars Program, enables success for all women and other underrepresented groups in technology fields. In the College of Engineering & Information Technology, CWIT supports students with a nurturing and challenging community, transformative leadership experiences, and professional development opportunities.

CWIT invites all students to apply for an opportunity to become a scholar and receive:

  • Mentorship from faculty, students, and industry professionals who are members of the computing and engineering communities;
  • Professional development opportunities;
  • Priority acceptance to live in the CWIT Living Learning Community residential hall floor;
  • A CWIT Scholar four-year scholarship and more!
