Mildred Dean Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to UMBC students, with a preference for those students who are committed to the success of underrepresented minorities and women.

The Mildred Dean Memorial Scholarship was established in 2016 with the proceeds of the Estate of Henry Dean James and a gift from Nikki Rochester. This fund is named in memory of Mildred Dean, the mother of Henry James.
