Richard H. Hunt Memorial Fund

This scholarship is awarded to entering or current students who demonstrate a need for financial assistance in order to continue his or her studies at UMBC, with a preference for those pursuing a career in K-12 STEM teaching.

The Richard H. Hunt Memorial Fund was established April 30, 1973, by contributions to UMBC in memory of Dr. Richard H. Hunt who was a practicing physician in the Baltimore area for more than 30 years.
