Janice Lumpkin Scholarship

This scholarship or student lectureship is awarded to current Chemical Engineering students at UMBC.

The Janice Lumpkin Scholarship was established in December 2000 by the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering in memory of Janice Lumpkin, a former faculty member of the Engineering Department at UMBC.

Qualifications:
Full-time Junior or Senior Chemical Engineering major
Demonstrated academic achievement
Commitment to the advancement of minorities in the sciences/ engineering
Demonstrated financial need
