Money Smart Week Scholarship (Social Media)

Scholarship applicants must be currently enrolled at UMBC in a graduate or undergraduate program of study. They must also attend at least one Money Smart Week events

Craft a series of social media posts that reflect your knowledge gained from the session you attended.

Posts can come in any form some examples may include- a series of posts on Instagram, a tik tok, a youtube video or a series of tweets.
Submit their posts in the form of a downloadable screenshot, PDF or video.

Scholarships will be awarded for the fall 2022 semester at UMBC and are not transferable to other institutions. If the recipient is graduating before fall semester, they may request the scholarship for the spring 2022 semester.

Applicants may apply for multiple MSW scholarships but will be limited to receipt of only one scholarship.
